Set the default gas fee token

The Bifrost network supports multiple tokens as network transaction fees to makje the life of users easier, and BNC is used by default, you can also modify the default gas fee token from BNC to any other supported tokens.

Polkadot gas fees

On Bifrost-Polkadot, you need to have at least 1 of the following tokens to pay the gas fees:

• BNC is always used as the default token for fees

If you don't have BNC, the protocol will automatically try to switch to any other available tokens:

• DOT

• MANTA

if you want to use a given token as default gas fee, follow the process below.

Kusama gas fees

On Bifrost-Kusama, you need to have at least 1 of the following tokens to pay the gas fees:

• BNC is always used as the default token for fees

If you don't have BNC, the protocol will automatically try to switch to any other available tokens:

• KSM

• ZLK

• USDT

• vBNC

GAS FEES BALANCE SHORTCUT

if you want to use a given token as default gas fee, follow the process below.

1. On the wallet page, click the three-dot icon on the far right of the token you want to set as the default gas fee

2. Select "Set as gas fee" in the pop-up options,confirm the transaction and complete the signature
